To umpire at OSAA, you must turn 13 years old or turning 13 soon. The first thing to do is have your parents register you on line so you can attend the required FREE classes. Then start your spring and summer job and work when YOU show us your availability. The more you are available, the more you can be scheduled and the more you can earn. Do you have what it takes?
REGISTER NOW at the Umpire Section of our website and to view class information. (At the top of our website, go to "My Role", then select "Umpire" and then select "Umpire Resources")
Effective July 1, 2012, sports organizations, including OSAA, are required to comply with the Concussion Awareness Act passed by the Nebraska legislature. Our goal is to keep our youth athletes safe. Please review some valuable information for coaches, parents and youth athletes on our new Concussion Awareness page!

If you are new to Omaha Suburban please click on the image below and register for RainedOut.com. This is our main source of communicating to you on current playing conditions for our fields. If your team is the last to use a field for the day, PLEASE rake back the holes in the batters box, catchers pit and pitching mound to make them level. This is a great job that parents can do while the coaches are having their final comments with their teams. All of the fields have at least one rake available to use to fill these holes in. When the nightly irrigation runs it helps to have those holes filled in to make them better for the next day!
Also please leave all of the base plugs in the extra locations in the field.
