Bring water, wear cleats and long pants and bring hustle and positive energy! Have a nervous player? That's ok... we understand and can look past nerves. This does not have to be a stressful experience. Please encourage your player to relax and know we are there to help them succeed.

Welcome!

Suburban Legends offers select fast pitch softball to girls, ages 10-18. This quality program allows serious players to advance to an elite level by teaching them solid fundamentals, strategy skills and respect for their teammates. As part of the select program, teams have access to OSAA's beautiful fields, batting cages, expert coaching and resources for parents, coaches and players. Legends teams travel beyond Omaha to experience a wide-range of competition. Teams play in both USSSA and ASA events. Choose to make OSAA your place to advance your love of the game!

The Legends Program Mission:

  • A teaching philosophy which demonstrates integrity and respect for players, umpires and coaches
  • Zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike behavior from coaches, players, fans
  • Strict "No poaching" policy: We develop players from within the Suburban Organization or from open try-outs
  • Try-outs are held AFTER STATE TOURNAMENTS are completed. Players work hard 9 months a year and should focus on finishing the spring season without the distraction of outside recruiting or inopportune try-out times
  • Present an opportunity for serious players to compete regardless of their financial position
  • Deep development in game fundamentals in a competitive, constructive way
  • Provide the best resources and proven up-to-date techniques
  • Exposure to collegiate coaches

Important Information:

  • Group tryouts are in July following State Tournaments
  • Season runs from mid March to mid July
  • Additional practice time is required, with most teams beginning practices in January
