The Shetland Baseball Division is for 6 year old boys or who are in Kindergarten as of the current school year. This league emphasizes INSTRUCTION and FUN. Games will consist of three innings or one hour, whichever occurs first. An inning will consist of all batters having an opportunity to hit off a coach operated PITCHING MACHINE (after the third swing a BATTING TEE). Teams will position six players in the infield and the remaining players in the outfield – there is no catcher. This a developmental league and no scores are kept and outs are not counted.
