Several teams from Suburban take advantage of the Field of Dreams program with the Omaha Royals each year. It is a chance for the OSAA players to be introduced w/ the Royals players during the announcement of the lineup, take the field w/ the player for the duration of the National Anthem and have the chance for autographs and photos. With this being the final season at Rosenblatt we wanted to make sure that everyone had the information to take advantage of this fun night at the park. Suburban Night at the Royals
We have scheduled the OSAA night at the Royals for Monday June 7th for the 7:05 game vs. Oklahoma City. We will have the ticket and food voucher order form available on the website soon. There will be league games scheduled that night so check w/ your schedule before ordering tickets for the Royals game. With this being the final season at Rosenblatt it will be a great opportunity for the players to get to walk in the pregame parade on the field. We had over 300 in attendance last year and expect a bigger crowd for this year!

Thanks to everyone who has sent in their registrations for baseball and softball for 2010. We had a great turnout at Burke High School last weekend for new players to Suburban. This is the last call to send in your forms if you haven’t done it yet before the March 1st deadline. We will take sign ups after that date on an as available basis.
